What surfaces should I stick it on?
Glass, tiles, painted metal, melamine/laminate: smooth, clean and dry. Degrease with IPA/water 50:50 before installation for better adhesion.
MagSafe / metal plates and wireless charging
Metal plates between the phone and the charger can interfere with Qi charging (slowing down or stopping). Use a dedicated MagSafe case /ring if you charge wirelessly.
Does it really hold up?
Comparable solutions (adhesive magnetic wall mount) are sold in French retail for around €12–15 and use VHB type adhesives for a long-lasting hold.
Can it be used in cars (windshields)?
